School Clubs & Wrap Around Care

At Newnham Junior School we run an onsite Breakfast Club, along with a range of Extra Curricular Clubs.

This is an in-house club which runs every school day from 7:45 a.m.

The children will be fully supervised by existing school
staff and a First Aider is always on hand.

Children will be offered a nutritious breakfast.

After breakfast they will be able to participate in a variety of games and activities and will be in their classes by the start of the school day.

There is an extended school provider who serves our school as detailed below:

Active Early Years Academy

Sarah Paterson runs Active Early Years Academy and offers wrap around care for infants and juniors. Sarah already known to our school as a level 4 and degree qualified Childminder with 14 years childcare experience.

Active Early Years Academy will be open from 3-6pm Monday to Friday term time for wrap around care and is available to children in our Infant & Junior schools.

This is held on the Newnham site in the Infant mobile classroom

In order to give the children as many opportunities as possible we provide a number of extra curricular clubs before, during and after school many of which are run voluntarily by staff members.
