Attendance

It is important that your child regularly attends but if he/she is unable to attend then we need you to follow the school code for attendance/absence. This code is printed below:

• On the first day of absence, please notify the school before 9.10am. The 'absence telephone number' 01895 671965 should be used.

• On your child's return a written note confirming their absence should be brought into school.

• It is not an automatic right for children to be allowed to take an annual holiday during term time. This may be authorised in advance at the discretion of the headteacher.  No absences will be authorised retrospectively. Any absence from school for medical appointments must be verified in a letter in advance of the absence.
